Local Makers Market is a modern, curated craft market showcasing handmade products from local designer-makers. You can expect to find screen prints, ceramics, jewellery, homewares and textiles from a wide selection of talented local artisans. You can apply to trade with us lower down on this page.
From modern city centre venues to beautiful churches and disused warehouses, we select the best venues for our events. All of our events are totally free to enter. We organise regular markets in London, Cambridge and Norfolk. See our full list of upcoming markets below.
Food is a big part of our markets and we ensure our offering is fully vegetarian and vegan to reduce our carbon footprint and be kinder to the planet. Expect to find wood fired pizza, homemade cakes and artisan coffee at our events. Get in touch if you're a food trader wanting to join us.
We still have some spaces to trade in 2025!
Please get in touch via email with a link to your socials or website and let us know which market dates you are interested in trading at:

When do you take applications?
Our annual application process opens every November and closes in early January. We take applications for the entire year in one go so that you don't have to fill in lots of forms throughout the year.
A link to the application form will be posted here and on our Instagram page in November.
I missed the application process- can I still apply to trade?
Yes! We gap fill our markets throughout the year so please get in touch if you want to trade with us as we often have cancellation spots to fill. Just drop us an email with a link to your socials/ website at hello@localmakers.uk. If you're a good fit for the market and we have space then we would love to offer you a pitch!
Where do you hold your markets?
We hold our markets at a variety of venues across East London, Cambridge and Norfolk including Abney Public Hall in Stoke Newington, Christchurch Hall in Wanstead, Downing Place URC in Cambridge, The Forum in Norwich and The Shoe Factory Social Club in Norwich and Well-Next-the-Sea, North Norfolk.
Are your markets inside or outside?
Both! Some markets are outside, some are inside and some have a mix of both inside and outside pitches. If you are trading outside than you need to supply your own gazebo and table.
Are your markets curated?
Yes, we carefully curate each market to ensure a good mix of stalls and good quality products.
Do customers have to pay to visit the market?
No, we want to encourage as many people as possible to visit our markets so we never charge an entrance fee.
